• Home Alison Crum is a player and teacher of the viol, known worldwide for her excellent skills and vast experience. She is President of the Viola da Gamba society of Great Britain, a visiting teacher at several academic institutions, and author of two highly acclaimed textbooks on playing the viol.   • Discography Alison Crum has made over one hundred recordings with many of Britain’s finest early music groups, including the Consort of Musicke, Musica Antiqua of London and the Rose Consort of Viols. She also appears as a soloist on discs of J.S.Bach, Marais, and Virtuoso Italian divisions.
